Pay-per-Click
- Do you already have a website that is (or should be) producing sales leads?
- Would you like it to produce more, better-qualified leads?
- Are you busy running your business – with no no time or desire to learn the skills needed to manage a new advertising medium?
Consider Google AdWords, the revolutionary advertising medium that brings only qualified traffic to your website.
“Pay Per Click” advertising is fast, flexible and measurable. It is much more closely targeted and controlled than “normal” advertising.
AdWords displays “sponsored links” when a Google search matches keywords attached to the ad. Clicking on the ad takes the searcher directly to that website. It could be your website.
I can help you to:
- Evaluate whether you should try Google AdWords advertising
- Set up your campaign and run it on a trial basis for two months
- Evaluate the results of the trial
- Manage it on an ongoing basis thereafter (unless you’d prefer to do that yourself)
Google AdWords does not require a massive financial commitment to an unknown advertising medium. It is fast, responsive, and you can pause or stop your advertising at any time.
These are the stages that I take my clients through when starting with Google AdWords:
Stage 1
An initial telephone discussion of up to half an hour is free. We would discuss your business, how Google AdWords works, and decide whether to go on to Stage 2. You are also free to ask me about my background, experience etc. Cost so far – nil.
Stage 2
A detailed discussion of the benefits and mechanics, and the setting of budgets and targets. This discussion could be by phone or face-to-face. All phone discussions are free of charge and a meeting is free of charge if it takes place in London. Meetings outside of London are charged an agreed rate that is likely to be between £100 and £200. By the end of this process, you will be able to decide whether to proceed to Stage 3.
Stage 3
I will set up your campaign and run it for two months. During this time, I will be doing a lot of fine-tuning, tweaking and refining. By the end of two months we will be in a position to make informed decisions about continuing the campaign on an ongoing basis. During this time you will be paying Google for the clicks received – but this never exceeds your stated budget and you can start and stop expenditure at any time with no penalty. There will also be a fixed charge for my time in setting up and managing your campaign for the two month period. My costs depend on the complexity of your campaign. The figure is fixed at the end of Stage 2. It is likely to be in the range of £100 per month for the agreed period of the trial.
Stage 4
According to your needs, either you or I will run your campaign on an ongoing basis after the two-month trial. If you run your advertising yourself, the only ongoing costs will be the “click charge” from Google. However, you have a business to run and may not be able to afford the time to acquire and practise the expertise required to keep an AdWords campaign running successfully. I would then be available to manage your campaign on an ongoing basis, with specified targets, for either a fixed monthly fee or on a “cost per click” basis that we would agree after the two month trial. This is likely to be in the range of £100-£150 per month, depending on the size and complexity of your advertising. To manage your AdWords on this basis, I would only require one month’s notice to cancel the Agreement. You are not tied to a long contract.
