1976 2:1 BA(Hons) in Business Studies and Diploma in Marketing (Chartered Institute of Marketing).

1976 - 1983 seven years in Management in London

1983 Control Data Institute, Manchester - Certificates in Systems Analysis and Design from both CDI and the National Computing Centre
1983-4 established a Database Consultancy within a small software company.
1984 established own Consultancy, providing bespoke database solutions to small organisations. Experience widens to cover the growing range of IT needs of PC users in small office / home office environments.
2002 - database consultancy has now been superceded as a wider range of "off-the-peg" information-handling solutions has become available. David now provides a broad range of support and IT consultancy services to a small, long-standing client-base consisting mainly of professionals who work on their own (so would not otherwise have colleagues or specialised IT expertise to call upon in their work environment). See testimonials page.
Since 1994 David also maintains a sharp focus on the real-world use of IT and micro-managing in business through involvement in producing a bi-monthly magazine for healthcare professionals - including sales, marketing, administration, IT and (not least) desktop publishing. Mainly PC-based in a home office environment. David only offers personal service, so he can only take on new clients where there is a "match" between the client's requirements and his own expertise. This generally covers most PC-based IT requirements of professionals, but David does not support Apple Macs, games consoles, or operating systems other than Windows.
